NEW YORK Dec 9, 2004 — An Oxford University philosophy
professor, Antony Flew, who has been a leading champion of atheism for more than
a half-century has changed his mind. He now believes in God.
Biologists' investigation of DNA "has shown, by the almost unbelievable
complexity of the arrangements which are needed to produce (life), that
intelligence must have been involved," Flew says.
What Flew is saying about DNA complexity could apply to other fields of science. Most astronomers recognize "Intelligent Design" in the universe and most of them believe in a super-intelligence.
Zig Ziglar, a motivational speaker for positive thinking said "Too many people get cooked in the squat." They don't think beyond certain options, but that view is simply their choice. It's not too late to change views when confronted by a better paradigm. It's been estimated that nobody knows more than 1% of all knowledge. So the possibility of God existing outside our 1% is significant. And if He does, we would want to be open to the evidence.
Dr. Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade for Christ, spoke with scores of
atheist on a one-to-one basis. Most initially conveyed the idea that they were
unable to believe in such a book of myths and contradictions, but on closer
questioning, revealed serious ignorance of basic Bible information.
The bottom line for most of them was, they were unprepared to accept
the moral obligations that belief in the God of the Bible would require. A great
theologian once said, "A man's morality dictates his theology."
TIME Magazine cited a scientist that it would be easier to believe a
jumbo jet resulted from an explosion in a junkyard than for life to have evolved
on earth after an explosion gave us our solar system. How would evolutionists explain this TIME Magazine factoid--"May
5, 2000: The date that Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn will line up
with the sun and moon--the first time in 6,000 years." Jan 17, 2000.
The "Big Bang Theory"
How would a solar explosion give nicely rounded planets, some with their own
moons orbiting them?
How would a sterile piece of the sun develop any of the elements (carbon,
hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, water) necessary for life?
How would orbiting of nicely rounded spheres occur at a 6,000
year interval that signifies time is up for earth?
Hint: After six days
of creation, God ceased His work (Genesis 2::2) and the Bible says 1,000 years are
like a day,
(2Peter 3:7,8).
This explains the solar system alignment as a sign that time is
up and we are entering a time of judgment. Since 2000 many things
are beginning to unravel, including 9/11, the tsunami, Katrina, war in the
Middle East..
If God is the Author behind the Bible, we should expect it to
reflect "intelligent design" like the solar system alignment or the
complexity of DNA. And, indeed, it does have intelligent design.
Consider, for example, the Equidistant Lettering Sequences [ELS]. From the 1st
yod in the 1st word of the Bible, “In the beginning, God created
the heavens and the earth," (Genesis 1:1), counting every 521 letters
spells “Yahshua yakhol” which means, “He is able" or has the power!
“Yahshua” is
similarly encoded in dozens of Messianic prophecies. In Isaiah 53 where Christ
“is brought as a lamb to the slaughter and… taken from prison and from
judgment,” two verses later “he shall prolong his days” beginning with the
2nd yod, every 20 letters spells Yahshua Shmi—Yahshua is my name. Yeshua,
